This Shipping Policy sets out the conditions applicable to the preparation, dispatch, transport and delivery of products purchased through the online store www.doismarias.pt.
This policy supplements the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and applies to all orders placed through the online store.

Dois Marias currently delivers to:

Dois Marias reserves the right to extend or restrict delivery areas, as well as to temporarily suspend deliveries to certain regions for logistical, operational or legal reasons.
Order preparation
Orders are prepared after payment has been confirmed.
The standard preparation time is between 1 and 2 business days, and may vary depending on:
- product availability;
- the time of year;
- promotional campaigns;
- order volume;
- exceptional circumstances.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Dispatch
Once the order has been prepared, it will be handed over to the carrier responsible for delivery.
Whenever technically possible, the customer will receive an email containing dispatch and order tracking information.
Delivery times
The delivery times indicated below are average estimates and do not constitute an absolute delivery guarantee.
Mainland Portugal
Between 2 and 5 business days after dispatch.
Azores and Madeira
Between 5 and 15 business days.
Mainland Spain
Between 3 and 7 business days.
During periods of higher demand (harvest season, Christmas, promotional campaigns or other periods of high order volume), delivery times may be subject to change.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout and displayed before the order is confirmed.
The amount may vary depending on:
- destination;
- weight;
- volume;
- number of bottles;
- promotional campaigns.
Whenever free shipping promotions are available, the applicable conditions will be clearly indicated on the website.
Order tracking
Whenever available, the customer may track the status of the order using the information provided by the carrier.

Receipt of the order
At the time of delivery, the customer is advised to:
- check the external condition of the packaging;
- check for any visible signs of damage;
- confirm that the number of parcels matches the amount indicated.
If any visible irregularity is identified, it is recommended that it be reported to the carrier at the time of delivery.
Damaged packaging
If the packaging shows visible damage, the customer should:
- Photograph the packaging before opening it;
- Photograph the products if they are damaged;
- Report the incident to geral@doismarias.pt, preferably within a maximum period of 48 hours after receipt.
The report should include:
- order number;
- description of the incident;
- photographs.
Bottles broken during transport
Although packaging suitable for transporting wine is used, exceptional damage may occur during transport.
Whenever an assessment confirms that the damage occurred during transport, Dois Marias will, depending on the circumstances:
- replace the damaged products;
- send a supplementary shipment;
- issue a credit note;
- issue a refund.
Each case will be assessed individually.
Recipient unavailable
The customer is responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the order at the specified address.
If delivery cannot be completed because the recipient is unavailable, the carrier's procedures will apply.
Additional costs may arise from further delivery attempts or the return of the order.
Delivery details
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
Dois Marias cannot be held responsible for delays or inability to deliver resulting from:
- incorrect addresses;
- incorrect postal codes;
- outdated telephone contact details;
- failure to provide information relevant to the delivery.
Protection during transport
Dois Marias uses packaging designed for the safe transport of wine bottles.
Although all reasonable measures are taken to protect the products during transport, exceptional circumstances may affect the condition of the order.
Force majeure
Dois Marias cannot be held responsible for delivery delays resulting from unforeseeable or unavoidable circumstances, including:
- adverse weather conditions;
- strikes;
- accidents;
- transport disruptions;
- restrictions imposed by public authorities;
- force majeure events.
Changes to the Delivery Policy
Sociedade Agrícola Dois Marias, Lda. reserves the right to amend this Delivery Policy whenever necessary.
